Merry belated Christmas and happy 2026, everyone!
Very appropriately, my 10th anniversary photobook arrived on Christmas Eve last month, so I thought I’d go through it and talk about it a little bit in this post
The jacketless cover is soo lovely. I love the mysterious, kitschy blue santa aesthetic. And the choice of pastel pink to go with it is super duper cute
I did not preorder this book, by the way. I’ll have you know that they announced preorders by giving us a whopping THREE DAYS of preorder period out of nowhere. Absolutely ridiculous. I am not rich and I have bills and expenses to pay, and the book, which also includes Raku’s FC exclusive photography booklet, amounted to a pretty big number that I couldn’t just pay out of pocket. This is a criticism I (and many others) have about Supadora’s management, they just never give us enough time and always announce things late! In the end, I was not able to preorder it, so I’m sad about not getting the Raku booklet. I do have hope that I will somehow get my hands on it one day, though, so it’s fine.
But onto the book…

There’s a section where each member produced another member’s photoshoot and I’d love to know everyone’s thought process behind it lol. Koki just dressed Tsuyoshi up as a dad which I find hilarious. That really is our dragon dad…
The last section of this book is a QnA where the members all answer the same 100 questions. There’s so many gems in here, and a lot of old anecdotes that we’ve heard before but I’m glad are being eternalized in this book. It’s a bit obvious that this wasn’t a live interview and that the boys sent in their answers via text or something, because I recognize Jean’s typing quirk haha (he always uses exclamation points at the end of his sentences when texting).
I’ll probably fully translate these interviews in the future, but for now here’s a select few questions and answers I found fun.
Q: If you were Supadora’s manager, what kind of project would you want to put the members in?
Koki: I want to put Jean and Tomoya in a BL.
I fear he knows what he’s talking about. Koki’s the BL expert here, of course he does.
It’s funny that Jean and Tomoya are ridiculously good actors despite being the members who are the least interested in pursuing an acting career (though Jean did mention that he wants to be a voice actor). Instead, these two use their acting skills mostly for evil, aka pranks lol. Infamously, Tomoya is such a good actor/liar that he's successfully fooled many people with his pranks (see: the legendary Supadora Karaoke prank video where he teamed up with Jean and everyone believed Tomoya was actually angry). Another famous incident is when Tomoya randomly lied to Hayate that he got into a fight in school and was being suspended, and Hayate actually got extremely worried because his acting was so believable.
Thankfully, you can see Jean’s acting being used for good somewhere, because he acts a bit in his own music videos as jjean! Particularly in galaxy trip, which is a 3 minute music video that feels like a movie with how it’s shot and how good Jean’s acting is. Ugh, I wanna see Jean act in a movie…
Also this reminds me of when Jean and Tomoya were tied together with a ribbon in the MV for Purple Moon and Jean in an interview was like "couldn't it have been Raku or Koki..." smh Jean isn't masc4masc.... Actually now that I think about it, Tomoya isn't masc4masc either LMAO (Tomoya casually talks about having a crush on Raku and had no problem being Koki's "boyfriend" (his words) back when Koki had long hair, but whenever him and Sougo have a gay moment for example he's like "hell no" LOL).
Anyway, get Jean and Tomoya in that BL, STAT!!!
Q. When was the hardest you’ve ever cried in your life?
Sougo: That day (I had that talk) with Tomoya.
Sougo alluded to this story before, infamously in the Ryuzaki High Vacation campfire episode on AREA SD where he said, “If you (Tomoya) weren’t there to talk to me that day, I wouldn’t be here right now.”
Sougo’s actually a very sentimental person. I remember in an interview the members all agreed that he is the most “likely to cry” on stage after Hayate. Infamously he also cried during a (rather cruel😭) prank video where they pranked the members into thinking they’d be making solo debuts. Sougo really loves this group so much…
By the way, Koki and Tomoya (and technically Tsuyoshi) all answered this question with “the day it was decided that Tahara-san would leave us”. How about I burst into tears right now.
Q. What were your first impressions of the other members and what is your impression of them now?

Overall, a wonderful book for a wonderful 10th anniversary! Gosh, they've really been through a lot, and it really has been such a memorable year...!
Now on a non-photobook related note… have you guys seen the reel Reo put up with him and Tsuyoshi for Christmas...
Reo’s new look + hairstyle is killing me!! Send help!! If he grows his hair out to shoulder length again with this silver color it’ll be over for me personally.
Reo seems particularly fired up recently, there’s something different about him. I think acting in more musicals, and especially the last musical he did, ATOM, really did something for him. Not that he’s changed but maybe more like he realized something, which makes me really happy for him! I think the same has been happening for Hayate, I think the stage world has been bringing a lot of positive influence on him!
Anyway, that’s all for this post… I’m writing this while on my new year’s trip visiting my niece
