A rapper through and through. He has always been writing (his own) rap lyrics, even well before SUPER★
DRAGON left STARDUST and made their major debut with Pony Canyon. Outside of SUPER★DRAGON, he is active as a solo artist and raps under the name “Cuegee”. It is an ongoing joke that Tomoya and Cuegee are two different people. His name, Tomoya, is rather difficult to read and is often misread as "Kazuya", which the members sometimes jokingly call him.

In 2024 he won the audience vote during the rap battle competition “WHO is THE NEXT”. As a rap lyricist outside of SUPER★DRAGON, he has writing credit on the song "FLY WITH YOU" by the J-pop group “FANTASTICS by Exile Tribe”. Although he usually only writes his own rap sections for SUPER★DRAGON's songs, “Athena” is the first song that he wrote the entirety of the lyrics for, including the non-rap parts. He has been cited as saying he wants to be a role model to rappers from the idol world.

He is a “grandma’s boy”, and loves his grandmother more than anyone else. He featured his grandmother in his fanclub exclusive birthday video for 2024. He did kendo since he was in elementary school, and was skilled enough to have won several tournaments. He is someone with strong convictions and values his “child’s soul” above all else.

He performs well in school, and is confident in his vocabulary and literary skills, as he’s someone who reads a lot of novels. His favorite subject is English and his least favorite is Art. Him and Raku were apparently “always together” throughout high school. He has somewhat of a harmless crush(?) on Raku, and has repeatedly on different occasions brought up how he wishes he could “erase his memories of him” and “meet him (for the first time again) in a different way”.

He’s like, crazy good at rapping. I think his charm point is that he raps super fast, but in real life, he talks very slow. He’s very cute. He’s extremely cool on stage, but off stage you can tell that he’s the (second) youngest member. He’s probably the member who “doesn’t want to act like an idol” the most out of everyone, he’s very #real and true to himself. He wrote in a blog post once about how he “has no interest in having pseudo-romances with fans”, and instead of that, he just wants to be “our strength”. He's so cool, I love him so much...
